CAULIFLOWER WITH GARLIC
Preheat oven, Electric 190 C/Fan 170 C, Gas 5

- casserole dish
- chopping board & sharp knife
- garlic press
- pan with lid
- frying pan
- colander
Ingredients
- 1 small cauliflower
- small onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 rashers bacon
- 50 g butter
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp fresh breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Finely chop onion
- Dice bacon
- Peel and crush garlic
- Break cauliflower into florets and cook in boiling water for 4 mins
- Drain well
- Melt 1oz butter and oil, add bacon and onion. Cook for 5 mins
- Add garlic and mix well
- Stir in remaining butter, breadcrumbs and parsley
- Place cauliflower in casserole dish, top with breadcrumb mixture
- Cover and bake for 10 mins
- Remove cover and cook for further 5 mins
