GARLIC and CHEESE WHIRLS
Divide dough into 2 (you could use the other half to make the plait or to make rolls)
- 1 lb Bread dough
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 oz butter
- 6 oz Grated Cheese (150g)
Grease and flour 8 inch cake tin
Crush garlic and mix with butter
Roll dough to a rectangle on a lightly floured board.
Spread the garlic butter over the dough.
Sprinkle over the cheese.
Roll up as you would a Swiss Roll
Cut into about 8 pieces.
Shape
Place in cake tin
Flatten down.
Leave to double in size.
Bake for 20 – 25 mins.
