CHOCOLATE FLORENTINE BARS
Preheat oven Electric 180 C/Gas 4
Servings: 21 people
- 300 g Dark Chocolate
- 50 g Butter
- 50 g Caster Sugar
- 1 egg
- 100 g Mixed Fruit and Nuts (mixed peel, pistachios and dried cranberries)
- 100 g Ground Almonds
Melt chocolate and pour into base of tin
Chill for approx. 30 mins
Cream butter and sugar
Beat in egg
Fold in ground almonds and fruit/nuts
Spoon the mixture over the set chocolate
Smooth out
Bake 20 – 25 mins
Leave to cool
Cut into fingers
