CHOCOLATE FLORENTINE BARS
Preheat oven Electric 180 C/Gas 4

Equipment
- 30 x 20 baking tin greased and lined
Ingredients
- 300 g Dark Chocolate
- 50 g Butter
- 50 g Caster Sugar
- 1 egg
- 100 g Mixed Fruit and Nuts (mixed peel, pistachios and dried cranberries)
- 100 g Ground Almonds
Instructions
- Melt chocolate and pour into base of tin
- Chill for approx. 30 mins
- Cream butter and sugar
- Beat in egg
- Fold in ground almonds and fruit/nuts
- Spoon the mixture over the set chocolate
- Smooth out
- Bake 20 – 25 mins
- Leave to cool
- Cut into fingers
