PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

Preheat oven Electric 180 C / Fan 160 C, Gas 4
Servings: 24 biscuits

Equipment

  • Line baking tray with baking paper
  • mixing bowl
  • food mixer
  • small dish
  • measuring spoon

Ingredients

  • 50 g/2oz butter/margarine
  • 75 g/3oz soft brown sugar
  • ½ egg
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
  • 100 g/4oz peanut butter
  • 75 g/3oz SR flour

Instructions

  • Place butter, peanut butter and sugar in mixing bowl
  • Beat together until soft and creamy
  • Add egg and vanilla essence. Beat well
  • Fold in flour
  • Roll into balls and flatten gently with a fork
  • Bake for 15mins. Halfway through cooking press down gently with fork
  • Store in air tight tin
