Hot Water
Instructions
Sieve flour,spice and bicarbonate of soda into bowl
Melt sugar,margarine,syrup and black treacle. Cool slightly
Beat eggs
Combine syrup mixture with flour,egg and hot water. Put into an 8" square,lined tin
Bake for 45 mins

Preheat oven Electric 180 C/Fan 160 C, Gas 4
