PIZZA
Preheat oven, Electric 200 C/Fan 180 C, Gas 6

Ingredients
- 8 oz Strong plain flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ oz fresh yeast
- ¼ tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp oil
Toppings
- Tin chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbs tomato puree
- Cooked ham
- Crushed clove of garlic
- Grated cheese mozzarella, etc
- Or any other topping of your choice
- Basil/oregano/mixed herbs
Instructions
- Sieve flour and salt into mixing bowl
- Place yeast and sugar in small bowl, add 2 floz luke warm water and leave to froth
- Make well in the centre, add yeast mixture oil and enough warm liquid to make a soft dough
- Knead lightly, cover with clingfilm and leave to double in size
- Prepare topping – place tomatoes and puree in pan, mix well heat and simmer until thick
- Add garlic to tomato mixture
- Grate cheese,finely chop onion, crush garlic, chop ham/peppers/pineapple etc
- Knead dough, roll to 8-10 inch circle
- Leave for about 20 mins
- Spread tomato mixture over base, arrange other ingredients on top
- Cover with chosen ingredients, sprinkle cheese and herbs
- Allow to rest before baking
- Bake for 20 mins
