CIDER BAKED PORK CHOPS
Preheat oven Electric 200C/Fan 180C, Gas 6

- chopping board & sharp knife
- jug
- grater
- liquidiser for crumbs
- Casserole dish – lightly greased
Ingredients
- 75 g mushrooms
- 1 cooking apple
- 1 onion
- 4 pork chops
- ½ pt cider
- 1 tbsp oil/fry light
- 50 g fresh breadcrumbs
- 100 g grated cheese
- Sage
- Salt & pepper

- Method
- Peel and slice onion
- Peel and slice apple
- Peel and slice mushrooms
- Peel, core and slice apple
- Heat oil in frying pan and brown chops, put to one side
- Add onion ,mushroom and apple cook for 2-3mins
- Place vegetables in base of casserole
- Season with salt, pepper and a sprinkle of sage
- Lay chops on vegetables
- Pour over cider and cook for 1 hour or until tender
- Mix cheese with breadcrumbs
- Sprinkle over chops and return to oven for further 20-30mins
