Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- 400 g New potatoes
- 1 onion
- Small piece grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp gram masala
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Half tsp ground coriander
- 1 tin chopped tomatoes
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Peel and finely chop onion
- Peel and crush garlic
- Peel and grate ginger
- Wash potatoes and cut into cubes
- Heat oil and add onion
- Cook for 2-3mins
- Stir in spices, garlic and ginger
- Stir in potatoes and cook for 2-3 mins
- Add tomatoes and season
- Cover and cook until potatoes are tender
- Cook onion, add spices, add toms, add to potatoes
